PAFFL.com is brought to you by the folks who comprise the Palo Alto Fantasy Football League.

The league was formed in 1987, prior to just about any other fantasy football publication (Fantasy Football Index premiered in '87), by a group of middle school friends hungry for competition and personally devoted to football.

Our constant desire to improve the league quickly led us from a draft format to an auction one, then from an annual league to a keeper/dynasty format. From keeper to different types of contracts and complex budgetary options that promoted year end discussion & trade possibilities.

The internet age allowed us to expand not only the league (its 16 teams, or franchises as we like to call them) but our voice. The dawn of simple blog software (thank you SixApart) has provided the league members an online forum to discuss, debate and document the craziness that is the PAFFL.
